The concept of lifestreaming is getting popular.  I’ve always been interested it and have been exploring various options to aggregate my online activities.  I view lifestreaming as something that is personal - an external online diary.  For me, I like to see what I’ve done and keep track of it.

One thing I don’t understand is why lifestreaming is so public.  Let’s be honest, no one is really interested in every little thing that I have done.  They may be interested in some of the things but not a lot of things.

I believe this is due to how we (all of us people) view information.  First, we look at the overall information and skim for what interests us.  The ability to filter and search information is important and lifestreaming apps should not ignore this and treat this simply.  Also, how the information is presented is important as well.
